Nike Rise North America // Senior Designer

As Senior Designer for Nike’s North America CDRD team, I played a crucial role in the roll-out of Nike’s RISE concept—a digitally driven retail experience that Nike first piloted in Seoul, South Korea. Since I was Senior Designer on the Seoul flagship, I was tasked with forming and leading the the North America team by translating the Global Visual Center I had created into a scalable design system for North America.

My responsibilities included standardizing core design elements, localizing materiality/execution, and establishing new guidelines for implementing RISE across the North American regional market. Within a year, we had begun work nearly a dozen RISE stores across North America and Canada, each rooted in a unified design while localized to the Sport of that City.

I was responsible for onboarding and training for a talented group of designers on the RISE concept, which enabled me to transition from full-scale design-execution to an oversight and mentorship role. I’m proud of both the high-caliber work we produced and the collaborative spirit of my team that drove these projects forward.
